Welcome to Lima Driving Academy (“Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and driving instruction services. By booking a lesson, using our website, or communicating with our team, you agree to these terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services
Lima Driving Academy provides professional driver training services, including:
- Beginner driving lessons
- Refresher lessons
- Road test preparation
- ICBC road test packages
- Pickup and drop-off services (where applicable)
Lesson durations and pricing are displayed on our website and booking pages.
All services are subject to instructor availability and scheduling confirmation.
3. Eligibility
Students must:
- Meet ICBC eligibility requirements for obtaining a driver’s licence in British Columbia
- Hold a valid learner’s permit or driver’s licence when required
- Provide accurate and complete booking information
- Be physically and medically fit to operate a motor vehicle
Students may be required to present identification before lessons or road tests.
4. Booking Policy
Bookings can be made through our website, booking system, phone, or email.
When booking a lesson, you agree to:
- Provide accurate contact and pickup information
- Be available at the scheduled time
- Ensure safe and legal pickup/drop-off locations
- Provide correct licence information where required
We reserve the right to reschedule lessons due to instructor availability, weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.
5. Payment Terms
Payment may be required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
We accept payment through secure third-party payment providers.
Prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and may be updated at any time without prior notice.
Lesson packages must be used within a reasonable time period unless otherwise agreed.
Unused lessons may not be transferable without written approval.
6. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
We understand that schedules may change.
Students must provide minimum 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
If less than 24 hours notice is provided:
- The lesson fee may be charged in full
- The lesson may be deducted from a package
Late arrivals may result in reduced lesson time.
If a student is more than 15 minutes late without notice, the lesson may be considered cancelled.
We reserve the right to reschedule lessons due to:
- Instructor illness
- Vehicle maintenance issues
- Severe weather conditions
- Road safety concerns
- Emergency situations
7. Road Test Packages
Road test packages may include:
- Vehicle use for the test
- Pre-test warm-up lesson
- Pickup and drop-off service
Students are responsible for:
- Booking their ICBC road test unless otherwise agreed
- Providing correct test location details
- Bringing required identification to the test
Lima Driving Academy does not guarantee passing the road test.
Road test results are determined solely by ICBC examiners.
8. Student Responsibilities
Students agree to:
- Follow instructor guidance at all times
- Drive safely and responsibly
- Respect instructors and vehicles
- Comply with all traffic laws
- Inform instructors of any medical conditions that may affect driving
- Wear appropriate footwear for driving
- Avoid use of drugs or alcohol prior to lessons
Lessons may be refused or terminated if a student is impaired or behaves in an unsafe or inappropriate manner.
No refunds will be provided for terminated lessons due to unsafe behaviour.
9. Instructor and Vehicle Safety
Our instructors are trained professionals.
For safety reasons:
- Instructors may end a lesson if conditions are unsafe
- Vehicles are equipped with dual controls where applicable
- Lessons may be adjusted based on student skill level
- Dashcams may be used for safety and insurance purposes
10. Limitation of Liability
While we strive to provide safe and effective instruction:
Lima Driving Academy is not liable for:
- Road test outcomes
- Delays caused by traffic or weather
- Errors in ICBC scheduling
- Loss of personal items
- Indirect or incidental damages
- Injuries caused by failure to follow instructor guidance
Driving involves inherent risks, and students accept responsibility for their participation.
11. Insurance
Training vehicles are insured according to British Columbia requirements.
Insurance coverage applies only during scheduled lessons.
Students must follow instructor instructions to ensure coverage remains valid.
12. Website Use
By using our website, you agree:
- Not to misuse website content
- Not to attempt unauthorized access
- Not to copy or reproduce website materials without permission
- Not to use the website for unlawful purposes
All website content is the property of Lima Driving Academy.
13. Privacy
Use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
Personal information is collected and used in accordance with Canadian privacy laws.
14. Refund Policy
Refund eligibility may depend on:
